My Thoughts
I always get so excited when a new Kathryn Freeman book tour lands in my inbox as she is definitely one of my favourite authors. I am over the moon today to be sharing my review if Nobody Puts Romcoms in the Corner with you all.
When Harry rents a room from Sally, their drunken antics on TikTok end up going viral and puts them onto a winner recreating classic scenes from romcoms. Will their own romcom have a happy ending or will other things get in their way?
Kathryn freeman always manages to create such a spark between the leads in her books and Harry and Sally certainly have a lot of that. I adored both characters and how their relationship developed. Harry’s dry sense of humour really made me chuckle and Sally is such a romantic soul. Both characters are the type that you root for throughout the whole book.
Using romcoms is such a great idea for a plot. I adore them and it was like combining two of my favourite things in this story and getting something amazing! This is such a cute and adorable romance with tonnes of laugh out loud moments, wonderful characters and a great plot. It’s perfect weekend reading but be warned – you won’t want to put it down!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to write a book. It may have had something to do with my obsession with reading romance. Real life interfered and I headed off in a different direction – into the world of science, becoming a pharmacist before joining the pharmaceutical industry. I did end up writing, but it was about disease and medicines. Decades later, I’m finally doing what I always wanted to do.
With a husband who asks every Valentine’s Day whether he has to buy a card (yes, he does), all the romance in my life is in my head. Then again, his unstinting support of my career change proves love isn’t always about hearts and flowers – and heroes come in many disguises.
