Synopsis
Music sensation Aurora Storm finally has her career back on track, but then she’s caught up in a media storm. Desperate to distract from the story, she enlists the one man she trusts to pretend to be her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, in the small seaside village of Mermaids Point, Nick Morgan never expected to see Aurora again. When she calls out of the blue needing his help, he agrees at once. It feels like she’s back in his life for a reason, and he’s determined to make the most of it.
Aurora joins Nick and the rest of his family for their festive celebrations and, as the snow falls, Aurora finds herself caught up in the romance of Christmas. But having tasted worldwide fame, can she ever be content with village life?
Two weeks is all Nick has to prove to Aurora that there’s a happy ending for them both in Mermaids Point.

My Thoughts
Oh it’s wonderful to be back in Mermaids Point again with all the gang. I love them all and it just feels so familiar and homely to be back there again. I now think of all the characters as friends and when I’m reading, I imagine myself as one of them, sharing in their journeys throughout life.
I am so pleased that Nick gets a story! It’s been a constant thread throughout this linked series and we’ve had some small glimpses onto Aurora but it was great to finally meet her. Happy Endings at Mermaids Point works perfectly as a stand alone however I recommend reading the series in order to get a good understanding of the different relationships and their timeline.
Aurora is so well written and her vulnerable side was captured really well. This threw me a little as I was expecting a very different character from the snippets of her character that I had read before. The Morgans and Nelsons completely welcomed her into the fold and they were the right people at the right time for her to spend time with. The opening chapter of this book reallys sets the scene for the dynamics and love that the Nelson’s and Morgans have for each other and Mermaids Point. It was such a clever way to set the scene and introduce everyone to people new to the series.
This series started with Autumn/Winter and Christmas is such a perfect time to end the series, and with a much awaited wedding no less.
This is a perfect book to snuggle up with the winter and it has such a beautiful community vibe and gorgeous characters. I cannot believe it is the end of Mermaids Point but as always, I eagerly anticipate Sarah’s next book/series as each one takes me to a new place that I fall in love with.
