I am over the moon today to be reviewing Wedding Wobbles on behalf of Amanda Paul and Rachel from Rachel’s Random Resources. I received a copy of this novel in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.
Laura and Ben have survived all manner of family mayhem. They are, against the odds, still together. A perfect wedding and happy ever after are on the horizon.
Or are they?
After no end of spokes in their wheels, our favourite lovebirds have named the day. A small do in a lovely venue, with a handful of family and friends to help them celebrate.
So where does the ungrateful pasty-loving woman come in? And when Laura and Ben are wrestling with scraggy flowers and rum-soaked fruit cake, where are Maureen and Fenella?
If you enjoyed the first four stories in the Scott Family series of romantic mayhem, you’ll love Wedding Wobbles, the final instalment.
Download this funny, heart-warming novella today to find out whether Laura and Ben get their perfect wedding, or their families finally push them over the edge.
Wedding Wobbles is the fifth story in the Scott family saga and it is every bit as hilarious as its predecessors. I love this family so much. If you are a fan of Marion Keyes’s Walsh Family then you’ll love The Scotts too. I do highly recommend reading this series of novellas in order as they work much better and make more sense chronologically.
It’s finally time for Ben and Laura to marry but in true style, there are disasters and calamity’s waiting in the wings. Can hey make it down the isle or will their families finally get the better of them?
Laura’s family are hilarious. They are so sweet, down to earth and loving but nothing ever seems to go right around them, especially mum. She tries so hard to look after everyone and make everyone feel special but can just never quite manage to pull it off. However, she does provide endless, hilarious situations and consequences and she is my favourite character. Ben’s family are also funny but in a completely different way. They are over the top posh and Fenella in particular is snooty and unlikable which makes some of the antics even funnier.
Wedding Wobbles is hilarious and heart-warming and I have enjoyed every last minute of this series. I’m devastated it’s the last however I enjoy everything Amanda writes and am looking forward to future novels.
