A huge thanks to Jaimie Admans, HQ publishing and #Netgally for organising this tour and allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
This is my Review of the Month for the review collection on LovelyAudiobooks.info
What if one moment could change your life forever?
Ness has almost resigned herself to being single forever, when she catches sight of the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen on the train to work.
But just as she plucks up the courage to speak to him – he steps off the train and disappears into the crowds, without realising he’s accidentally dropped his phone!
It’s her ‘glass slipper’ moment, she’s sure of it, she just needs to track him down – all the way to the gorgeous seaside village of Pearlholme, where she finds him restoring a vintage carousel by the sea…
Maybe it’s finally time to follow her heart?
As well as being a huge fan of Jaimie Admans, I defy any romance reader to not be drawn in by this beautiful cover. I am thrilled that I was given an ARC by Netgally to read and review and even more so whan HQ game me a blog tour spot.
You can catch my review of It’s a wonderful Night here and I highly recommend The Chateau of Happily Ever Afters too.
In a kind of reverse Cinderella story, Ness has been ‘eyeing up’ a hunky man on the metro for a while and when he drops his phone it’s the perfect opportunity to speak to him – but first she has to track him down. Following him to Pearlholme, it doesn’t take long to see that they are a perfect pair however, Ness has a little secret that could ruin everything.
Jaimie Admans has done it again!
She has some kind of special kind of sorcery where she can take a normal, everyday setting and turn it into a captivating and enchanting place where you become fully immersed and never want to leave. This time, our fairytale takes place on the Yorkshire Coast in the picturesque town of Pearlholme with it’s pretty cottages and what’s more romantic than a mysterious vintage carousel on the beach?
Of course in such a magical place you meet wonderful people too. Ness and Nathan are both delightful characters and the locals are just wonderfully hilarious. I often found myself chuckling out loud – so much innuendo!
If you’re looking for a heartwarming read for the beach, garden or just anywhere you want to park yourself – this is it!
Author Bio – Jaimie Admans
Jaimie is a 32-year-old English-sounding Welsh girl with an awkward-to-spell name. She lives in South Wales and enjoys writing, gardening, watching horror movies, and drinking tea, although she’s seriously considering marrying her coffee machine. She loves autumn and winter, and singing songs from musicals despite the fact she’s got the voice of a dying hyena. She hates spiders, hot weather, and cheese & onion crisps. She spends far too much time on Twitter and owns too many pairs of boots.
She will never have time to read all the books she wants to read.
She is the author of chick-lit romantic comedies The Chateau of Happily Ever Afters and Kismetology, and she has also written young-adult romantic comedies Afterlife Academy, Not Pretty Enough, and North Pole Reform School.
