Top reads of 2018

Over 2018 I have read many good books.  It was the year I began reviewing and blogging and the year I have been introduced to so many new authors.

I’ve tried to keep the list and the post as short as I can and I’ve linked up reviews if available.

Miss Marley was just a devastating and beautiful novella.  Check out my review here.

The long-awaited third books in the series that began with Me Before You.  I think this books completed the story of our beloved Lou Clarke elegantly and although I’m really sad it’s all over, I’m pleased Lou got her deserved ending.

I loved all of Kelly’s novels so far and I was over the moon to find there was a sequel to No Way Back (I advise you read this one first).  I love Audrey Fox and the added suspense aspect of this one makes it even more exciting.

This si a very chilling and pacey read.  It’s one that makes you want to shout out loud at the characters in the book.  Read my full review here.

This is the first book in the Dilbury series and they are one of the few books that make me giggle out loud.  If you need something lighthearted, this is it!

This was one of the most twisted novels I have read with turns until the very last page.  Check out my full review here.

Small Great Things absolutely blew my mind and stayed with me for a very long time after reading.  I raved about it to anyone who would listen.  It’s amazing and it needs to be read!

Have you read any of these?  What were your favourite reads of 2018?

  1. Ooh these all look great 😀 embarrassingly I don’t think I’ve read any of these, but I really like Jodi Picoult so I’ll have to give it a read! So many books so little time…
