There’s nothing a bookworm loves more as a gift than something bookish. I have put together a series of gifts guides for the bookworm in your lives by gathering a variety of items from around the internet. This is not a PR piece and I am not being paid by any of these companies. It is also worth noting that there are many examples of these items so it’s worth shopping around to find one that suits your needs although I have included the links (Click on the titles) to all the items found on this page. I have also tried to include items of varying prices to cover larger gifts down to stocking fillers.
All prices were correct at the time of writing this post but be advised that some items were on offer and all prices are subject to change.
Book pendant and necklace
Price – £29.71 but there is a shipping cost to the UK of £11.71
This sterling silver necklace and charm is a beautiful gift for a book lover. The chain comes in a variety of lengths and there is a guide on the Etsy page to demonstrate.
I have come across a variety of pendants from specific book covers to generic book ones so it is worth having a look around.
Beautiful copies of classic books
Price – varies
Every book lover loves books with beautiful covers. It’s like showing a magpie something sparkly. This site has a range of stunning books including ones with beautiful covers, limited editions and illustrated editions.
A book about yourselves
Prices starting at £30
A fantastic gift for your significant other. On the website you create avatars that look like you both and then add in a front cover, the pictures and words and hey presto! A fun book to celebrate your relationship.
Book ends and novelty shelving
Prices range from £10 to £60
After reading, a bookworm favourite past-time is organising said books. What better way to organise and display your favourite items than with an invisible shelf or a set of beautiful book ends.
Scratch off books poster
Price – £12.99
This is the perfect gift for the reader who wants to be a little more adventurous in their choices and step out of their comfort zone. As you read the book, scratch it off and reveal an image. The selection is a mixture of classic and modern literature.
Book Subscription
I’ve added a link to one option but there are lots of different subscription packages about so it’s worth shopping around. Who wouldn’t love a mystery book dropping through their door once a month?
Personalised or classic cases for e-readers
Price – £18.00 – £30.00
Who doesn’t want to spruce up their e-reader? These book themed covers are stunning. There’s a wide variety of books to choose from and an option to create personalised ones. I owned the To Kill a Mocking Bird cover for my previous Kindle and I just adored it. It was stunning and I’ve used it for years.
Cuff Links
Price – £16 (for this particular pair)
I’ve selected these beautiful Oscar Wilde cuff links but the site link has a variety to choose from. A perfect gift for a book lover.
Lampshade
Price – £30 (currently reduced from £38)
Cosy up with your favourite book next to this beautiful lamp. It’s a pale grey background and the vintage text is black and gold.
Personal bookmark
Price – £11
I was lucky enough to receive one of these for my birthday last year and it’s absolutely lovely. It is made from Italian leather and smells divine. Mine has my name on but you can personalise with initials or phrases from a book. They also come in a variety of colours.
I found so many awesome items that I decided to create a second part. Check it out here.
These are pretty good gifts for someone who likes a good book. I’d easily find myself using that lamp on my bedside table for one. I even saw you had a few gifts in there – one in particular – that could be for couples too.
Has a little for everyone, I respect that!

Yes I tried to look for a variety. I have another one to do as I found so much. I love the lamp. I might have to share this around my family and friends.

The cases are fantastic. I used mine for years but ive just got a new Kindle. The designs are beautiful and there’s a sale on.
I’m scared of the poster because I’d feel compelled to read them even if I didn’t want to 🤣😂

I love getting pretty copies of classics. Doesn’t matter how many copies of that book I have, I still love them. A book subscription is also a fantastic gift!

Yes o gave other subscriptions but a book one would be fab. I think there’s one where the book is kept secret, I’m sure you gets blank cover and no blurb.

I love books as physical objects, and those beautiful books from the folio society website make me feel excited and happy just looking at them! I used to love reading books when I was younger. At the moment, I can’t really make time for it. But I’m hoping I’ll get back to reading sometime in the future x
